problem with USB phone

Hi,

 

I have a USB phone attached to my PC, and when i dial numbers it repeats them on the phone screen. So basically every number i enter i doubles!

 

I dont think its a problem with the phone as i've used it with other soft phones no probs, and a friend who has ExpressTalk and the same USB phone, used it for the first time in ages today and had the same problem! Before, he hadnt had this issue.

 

Any ideas?
