Slow playback isn't working

I've been using my paid version of ExpresScribe with a compatible foot pedal for a few months with no trouble.  However, for one of my interviews I couldn't quite make out what the subject was saying so I went to the control tab on my computer and clicked the playback (normal speed) option to hear it normally.  Then, when I went back to continue the transcription with my foot pedal (which is set up to play back at 80%) it kept playing at normal speed.  I tried clicking the slow playback option in the control tab manually, I went through the set up wizard again for the foot pedal, rechecked all my settings in preferences to make sure all the playback speeds were set to 80% when using the foot pedal but it still only plays at normal speed.  I now can't get it to play at a slower speed without setting the playback to 30-40% just to get it down to what would normally be 80% speed.  It's almost like, by playing back one clip at normal speed, the software's sense of what is regular and slow is all screwed up.  My foot pedal now won't play back at any rate other than full speed.

On that case I recommend you to uninstall restart the computer and reinstall the software so you can get it back to factory settings. If the issue persist we recommend you to open a Support ticket with NCH Technical Support using the following link: http://www.nch.com.au/support/supportcontact.html
