Phone conversation heard on Pc speakers

I set up my software right and all recordings are perfect. The only problem and BIG problem I have is when I turn my PC speakers on (or if anyone else does) I can hear

the phone conversation. Even when the software is hidden and working in the background, anyone who turns the speakers on can hear the conversation being recorded. Is there any way to prevent this.

I tried recording from "Line in" and "phone line" and both have that problem.

Please help.

Thank you :(

I too am having this problem and I noticed that no one has responded to the problem. I'm considering purchasing this software but I can't have it where its being played over the speakers for anyone to hear.

Can someone please help?

Thanks

I think I figured it out. You can open the window volume controls (double click on the speake at the bottom of your screen). After the window opens (Master Volume), choose MUTE under microphone. If you don't see Microphone there, click on OPTIONS, PROPERTIES, and under SHOW THE FOLLOWING VOLUME CONTROLS, check MICROPHONE. I did this and it fixed the problem. I hope this helps.
