me get no sound too

same problem as prorec's. when i record, i see the bars move, but, when i playback, there's no sound, and theres not even any sound waves, just a straight line. i tried recording on another program, and it worked fine, but, i prefer wavepad's format. also, when i try to play any other files, like ones from cd's or whatever, it does the same thing, no sound, straight line.

 

please help
