Can we slow down the dtmf send speed

Hi,

I managed to set everything up and it works well except for one small issue. Any extention that I try to send to that has consecutive repeating digits gets recognised by my PBX as one key press. Thus "221" is registered as "21" and "222" is registered as "2". The transfer though works for something like "212" or "201" where the repeat is not consecutive.

Is there a way to slow down the dtmf tone send or to increase the pause between digits. I can't add "," between the digits since I am capturing the variable from the keypress of the caller and sending the variable directly to the transfer function.

Thanks!

Chris

Alan,

Unfortunately I only use this with a smartlink voice modem (www.smlink.com). Any chance you can help with this? Thanks!

Under the menu- settings/devices/properties there's an option to configure your TAPI hardware. You should be able to make the adjustments from there - good luck!

I've been there. The only things that I can set are as follows:

General Tab:

->Data Connection Preferences

-->Port Speed (115200)

-->Data Protocol (Standard EC)

-->Compression (Enabled)

-->Flow Control (Hardware)

Advanced Tab:

->Hardware Settings

-->Data Bits (8)

-->Parity (None)

-->Stop Bits (1)

Things in the brackets are the values that they are currently set to. Any idea what I need to change. There is no place for me to add in any init strings for AT commands here.

Thanks!

I think your best bet is to get a different board - sorry
