jahan
I have a project that I am working on and video editor had been slow but was working fine. I added a new video clip to my existing sequence and after a few cuts and editing, the audio will only play in clip preview and not in the sequence preview. I have tried to clear my cache of unused audio to see if that would help but it has not. I have done all the other, reboot the computer, shut down the program and still the same issue. I would rather not uninstall the editor as it took me quiet awhile to finish what I have now. I have version 3.43. Any help would be much appreciated! borate
Is the track muted, which would cause the problem you state? Far-left side of the audio track timeline, the little speaker icon. Be sure it's not RED.

borate
Is there sound after producing (exporting) your video? If possible... In Videopad, click FILE|BACK UP PROJECT FILES TO A FOLDER, zip then upload that folder to a file server, such as DROPBOX, Google DRIVE, ADrive, etc. Link the URL publicly here, so we can take a look. Try the latest version... http://www.nchsoftwa...ad/vppsetup.exe
jahan
It looks like I was able to get it to work. I ended up saving out my project file and uploading it to the new software version that was on my personal laptop. The original that I was working on was my work computer, which is woefully outdated and could have been the culprit. Everything seems to be working on my laptop now. Thank you for all of your help!
