riedlshah Posted February 22, 2006 Share Posted February 22, 2006 I have been trying to evaluate the IVM phone attendant software but have found it incredibly hard to find a modem that is going to work with it. I spoke to various companies, but was told that the new modems dont support voice/tapi - they come with something called TAM. I bought a genius GM56PCI-LA, which is a TAM modem. Doesnt work, but it did come with some answerphone software that plays wav files and records a message... so isnt that enough for the IVM software to work? Unfortunately, I want outbound functionality, so that is not going to work for me. Anyway, can anybody tell me if there is an update to the IVM Telephone Answer Attendant software that is going to make it TAM compatible? michael Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
