Invoice Number problems

Hi all!

Having had a laptop stolen I have a hole in my invoices where I have lost around 10 which weren't backed up. My new laptop is running new version 3.99. On my old version I managed to just change the invoice number so i could continue invoicing after the missing ones with a view to restoring them later. Now on the new version I can't find an option anywhere to change the invoice number and if i do it manually when creating one it doesnt record the change and just continues from the last number.

 

example:

i had done invoices up to 0097 but only backed up till 0084. This laptop was stolen. On an older laptop / version I changed my invoice starting number so I made invoices 98 - 103. This was all backed up and transferred to a new laptop which now has numbers 0085 - 0097 missing. I just want to add the missing invoices with correct number. I have retreived the pdf's so i can input them manually but i cant seem to change the number? Have the preferences changed on latest version?

After all that I sorted it. For some reason it didnt save the change on the invoice number manually the first time but i tried creating another new one and now it works. Problem solved.
