which modem to use?

I am trying out this and supervoice both seem to be very similar but this has incredible support which is a deciding factor.

 

I am just in the middle to see if this is lacking anything supervoice has.

 

anyhow I need a voice data fax modem which works all the way.

 

the current one i am using is some cheapy no name brand i got off ebay that is using the intel 536 EP chipset and the latest driver. it works fine to answer phone calls. However I cannot do "call screening" and I cannot make phone calls using it. I have a headset connected to its plug in ports for the mic and spearker which is built into the modem itself.

 

So now I am thinking I need a new modem to get this software working.

 

can anyone suggest a cheapy 56K modem which will do everything especially call screening and caller id with a Verizon Phone Service (Los Angeles)??
