pedal stop when foot lifts off

I use this to make a piece of software start playing audio with a combination keystroke using the middle pedal. I would like the audio to stop and rewind a bit once I lift my foot off the pedal. Is this possible somehow? I can't seem to figure it out. I've looked in the manual and didn't see anything that answered my specific question. I actually have to tap the pedal again to make it stop. That's not much fun
