mouse issues

Hi. I have an older AMD Athlon 2100+1733MHZ 256 KB L2Cache with 2048NMB Memory

 

 

FYI I haven’t had any mouse issues in the past and have ran some intensive processing programs for both both audio and video, but once the Debut recording software is launched it takes control of the mouse making almost useless. The pointer becomes very erratic and moves around on its own with in a delayed jerking fashion. I’ve tried 2 different USB mousse and adjusted properties with each, I’ve restarted the computer,

ran registry cleaners, and checked /boosted available memory, none of that has made any difference. If I move very slow and let the jerking pointer catch up

eventually you can use the functions select, etc….however almost impossible.I set the frame capture rate in the program to 1 FPS up to 8FPS .

In all cases the behavior of the mouse remained the same, returning back to normal functioning only when the program was closed.

Please help anybody?
