My clips black out and I have no idea why

I cut my video and added transitions. Now half my video is just a blacked out a screen. Only the first 1-2 seconds of the clip shows then it blacks out and does the same thing for 5 other clips. Then it randomly works for the rest. What is going on?

Consider installing the latest video driver, from the chip manufacturer's WEBsite.

If problems develop, use the device manager "graphics adapter" item to roll back to the previous driver.
