GJRG Posted July 18, 2013 Posted July 18, 2013 Most often when I crop an image I'm trying to achieve a particular aspect ratio. I realise that PhotoPad allows me to select certain aspect ratios from a drop-down, but the ones that I want don't usual fit the 5 pre-sets. What would be really nice is if I could set my own sizes as pre-sets or, failing that, if the program could show the aspect ratio as I adjust the crop lines. Even showing the size of the cropped image in pixels (say, in the status bar) would be a big benefit because I can easily work out the size that I need in order to achieve a particular aspect ratio. I guess that's an enhancement request! Any chance of that? Failing that, can we have a few more pre-sets, like 6x4, 7x5 and 10x8 (common photo paper sizes). 11.69 x 8.27 would be the ratio of A4 paper (and therefore, I guess, the ratio of any metric paper size). Having landscape as well as portrait would mean that the image wouldn't have to be rotated before cropping. Thanks for listening...! Greg
