Limit Items to list only

Windows latest version, evaluating.

 

Is there an option to limit items to those already in the item list. That is to say I don't want to accidently add an item in the Invoice screen.

 

It is also curious that when I start typing an item name it does not jump to that name (like it does in the Customer: drop down)
