flatlander_dj
When recording with Wavepad and a microphone, the audio is recorded and saved fine. This is in a wav format. I close the window then reopen the same file to play and the wav file is now scratchy and somewhat distorted. I can open a good wav file, save as a new file name, close the window and reopen this file to discover scratchy and distorted output. I wanted to try saving in an MP3 format and it won't do that, comes up with an error. I am hoping to use this to record audio tracks for inclusion in on line training I create. This product has all the features needed to create professional results. If I can get by this hurdle of the quality change I would be elated. I have a IBM T40P with XP professional as an OS. It has the latest MS updates installed.
