Using Inventoria on MAC

Is anyone out there using Inventoria on Mac OS. I have to use this software at work to track the storeroom inventory and bill customers for materials used. I found the software easy to learn, but soon found out its limitations, such as,1. Only able to set prices to two decimal places, 2. Drop down columns to narrow, 3. Drop down columns for stock locations wont sort alpha/numerically. 4. Not able to see what version you are purchasing, 5. Having to pay to have someone answer a simple question on product functionality.

My company has paid for two upgrades thinking that they would solve the problems only to find out that not only have the problems not been addressed but new ones have appeared. We purchased version 3.26 thinking all would be well but found out that after inputting all the data the software crashed every time i tried to save a sales report, email reports or just view reports. After emailing support several times I did eventually get them to respond. They asked for a screen shot of the failure report then I heard nothing. After constant badgering by email they said just to revert back to the previous edition. I did this then found out I was unable to restore my data to this previous edition.

I downloaded the windows edition to another PC running windows and now have to backup my data to a pen stick and do a data restore on the windows one to get any functionality from this software. New problem is that the windows PC now has Win7 on it and the latest version of windows Inventoria crashes on the PC.

Conclusion.

This software has potential, it's a great pity that NCH can't be bothered to make the software function as it has the potential to do. I was disappointed to look at the Better Business Bureau's website and see the number of complaints posted against NCH. http://www.bbb.org/denver/business-reviews/computer-software-publishers-and-developers/nch-software-in-greenwood-village-co-90105909
