Express Scribe Pro version - does it play Quicktime files?

I was wondering before bothering to download the pro version if it does two things I need and I can't seem to find this information anywhere. I need it to play Quicktime files and I'm also wondering if it will show a sort of encrypted timecode that is IN the quicktime file. What I mean by this is that if you convert or otherwise play these files on anything but quicktime, you can't see the timecode. Only when played on quicktime, and then only when going into the preferences settings and telling it to, does the file display the timecode in it. Presently the non-pro version won't even play the file properly to begin with. The file is 6 minutes long but plays warped in Express Scribe which says it's 24 minutes. I'm pretty sure the PRO version will play the file properly, but will it display the timecode the way Quicktime does. Again, something like WMP will not display the timecode. Quicktime does, but there's no F keys or foot pedal to start/stop the file.

Thanks!

I have a file called QuickTime Movie and I would like to know if Express Scribe Pro will allow me to use the shortcut keys (F9 for Play / F8 for Fast Forward / F7 for Rewind and F4 for Stop)

Currently, I can't get express scribe to even open this file.

I have a 1.25.40 file to get busy on.....Frustrating that ExpressScribe won't even open this movie file.

Thanks,
