switch won't save?

Hey-

 

I just downloaded Switch free version. I'm using WinXP pro. I opened an AAC file in it and tried to convert it to MP3. It went through all the motions but when it was done, the file was not saved anywhere. I searched for it and it was nowhere to be found. I tried it a couple of times more and it had the same problem.

 

I tried the same file in Wavepad and it is saving just fine.

 

I saw a couple of other posts in this forum about this issue but did not see anything resolved. I can send the source file if necessary although I believe it's not the file itself because Wavepad can work with it just fine?
