Focusrite Saffire Pro 40

Hi,

We're looking at MixPad as the software to use with a Focusrite Saffire Pro 40. The idea is to use a laptop as the field recording system, then take it back to our Protools station for editing, and we're not over-anxious to buy a Protools seat just for that.

We'd want to make multitrack recordings using the Saffire Pro 40 as an audio interface, with MixPad as the software, then move WAV files over to Protools. Is this something MixPad will let us do?

Thanks for any advice.
