IVM not answering following EASYTAPI v2.4 upgrade

System configuration:

Windows XP Professional

CallURL TalkVoice 4LV

IVM 3.03

We started with driver version EasyTAPI2.3. The basic functionality was there, however the CallerID information was not being passed.

The PABX we have installed here is the Ericsson BusinessPhone 150. We have callerID enabled from the phone company and the PABX has successfully handled CID information in the past. The CallerID format is DTFM.

In the hopes that the new version of the driver might help, we downloaded and installed EASYTAPI v2.4 from the CallURL web site. Now we have infinite problems.

IVR is no longer answering calls. Using the Tone Test facility, we get the following:

No Answer: Test Result is not as expected. (Tone cadence broken).

Line Connect: Test Result is not as expected. (From the test flow, it does not appear to recognise the connection)

Caller Hangup: Test result is not as expected. (Not recognised either; just a whole string of Silence detected / duration notes).

The aforementioned tests only proceed when using Blind Dialing, as it seems not able to recognise dial tone.

All attempts to 'teach' it the hang up and dial tone have no impact. The Analysis Method is set to Intelligence, Detect Sensitivity = High.

Finally, under TAPI Settings > PBX, there was no option for Ericsson systems, so we left it as the Panasonic KXT-6160 option.

We have tried to contact CallURL support, and have received no reply (despite our Gold Level Support). Furthermore, their web site now seems to be temporarily (?) unavailable.

The page on the NCH site which deals with Technical Support has a form which generates a 'page no longer available' error. So, we've submitted a request through the general 'if all else fails' form. If we receive a 'grumpy email' for having submitted to the wrong place, we are going to be grumpy right back!

If anyone can help us with our problems, we'd be VERY grateful. Otherwise, we'll be forced to make a fresh investment with different software and a different card.

regards

Julie
