Tiny sound

Just installed the hardware. Using it for radio archiving. Software is the M Audio Delta 1010LT.

 

Records well. But sound is very thin, like speaking from the bottom of a barrel.

 

I'm sure it must be a setting problem. Please advise what to look for & what to change.

Sounds like you have the automatic sound level turned on. Turn it off. That should do the trick. Or you might try not using compression.
