My guess is "stereo", but what is "joint"??? Can somebody help me going here?? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The general meaning of joint is: when encoding in "joint" the program toggles between stereo and mono encoding depending on differences and similarities in the left and right channels. I don´t know if this applies to Switch, but my guess is that it does, so if I were you I would choose the "stereo mode" when encoding - to maintain the tracks original "settings". Hope this is helpful to you.
