adding item from web access doesnt work

I have recently downloaded and purchased inventoria and all seems well, but when using webaccess to sync with multiple users...they are not able to create an item. The item will show up in a report, but not anywhere else in the program. Once they create the item and the page redirects back to the items list...the item is not shown, but if they try to recreate the item, the program says the item already exists...Please help
