Gem4skis Posted September 24, 2011 Share Posted September 24, 2011 In WavePad, how do I change the Threshold and Duration settings for the Split File at Silences? On my first attempt, on a 4-song album recording, I changed the duration from 0 ms to 10 ms, and WP found no silent zones for splitting. Subsequent attempts did not again present the setting options window. I cannot find any tools to access the Split settings. How can I change the Split settings? vapors Posted October 27, 2011 Share Posted October 27, 2011 It has been a month since you posted, so perhaps you have figured out the auto split yourself. I can’t help with that as I prefer to do all my splits manually, which assures that the split is exactly where I wish and allows me to fine tune the track (for example: fade out/in, or add silence, etc.) right then and be done with it. So no help with auto split from me, just sharing method of operation (which took some trial and error to figure out in itself) and my agreement – WavePad is quite useful!
