no duration

All of a sudden I cannot get files to work from one reporter. I have another reporter that works just fine. We've tried to do it many different ways, but there is always no duration on the files. In the upper right hand corner there is a small box that appears with "channels." This does not appear on my files that work. I try to click on this to change something but it doesn't work. HELP!
