Version 5.24

I have recently installed version 5.24 of Express Scribe. I have tried various settings in order to control my slider bar in the bottom right corner of the program. In my previous version I was able to drag the sliding bar from 0% to 200% and it would start out very slow and then slowly increase as I dragged the bar. I am unable to get the slider bar to do this for the 5.24 version. It will start out at 25% (won't let you set at 0) and then stays pretty much same speed and then audio jumps in and out and then about 50% or so picks up speed and then usually does pretty good gradually increasing. I don't know if I have some settings incorrect or if there is a problem with this version. If anyone has any ideas to help, they would greatly be appreciated.
