Newbie Question

Hello and thanks in advance for your response.

 

I've downloaded the demo, and it works great and is very easy to use.

 

I've been using the line in on my laptop to record a seperate clip for each the left and right audio. Does that mean I need the "Lite" version or can the "Basic" version split stereo like that?
