nikro000
I had to correct my previous post - I am having problems with the speech to text feature not text to speech I just downloaded Express Scripts. I am using a windows 7 64 bit computer with speech recogniion activated and the default speech profile. For input I use a built in micro OR a digital sony voice recorder. Here is the problem: When I used the DOCK button and choose Audio Cable, and speak into the mike then I create a Dock file with Sender:Dock and the file is transcribed. If I choose Audio File Transfer Method and load a prerecorded file, the file is uploaded (Sender:Unknown), but nothing is transcribed. I use the Dock button, the upload button, I use mp3, wav or files saved as dct.I also use files of varying lenths. Nothing works. Not a single word is transcribed into Notes. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks for your help.
nikro000
T'is an update: I have kind of solved the problem myself. For some reason I have to take the file out of the recorder and convert it to .raw When the .raw file is then imported into Express Scribe, I get the transcription. I have no idea why I have to convert it first to .raw though.
