Adjusting ring volume

Hi all

 

Using ExpressTalk and absolutely loving it. One thing though, I am in a shared office with a buddy of mine and need to reduce the ring volume as it seems super loud compared to the actual voice sound. Any suggestions? I may have missed it, but if I could assign a custom ring tone, I could manually reduce the volume of the ring with a sound editing package.

You can indeed assign Express Talk to use a custom ring-tone. To do this go into Options and click on the "Other" tab. At the top of this dialog is a list of all the rings/sounds that you can change in Express Talk (you can play with these to personalize Express Talk). The one you are looking for is labeled "Ringing" and should be near the bottom. Select it then click the "Change..." button on the right to modify it.
