I've been using Express Scribe for about two months with no problems. Suddenly today AVG detects a threat ... has anybody else experienced this? My Express Scribe software did update yesterday, when I downloaded a trial of Express Dictate, which has me slightly concerned.

NCH Software makes sure their audio software is free from virus', malware, or trojans before software is released. Additionally, Google scans NCH Software's website at least once a week to check for virus', malware, and trojans. I checked Express Scribe's download file today on a website that can check 41 anitvirus packages at once. No virus, Malware, or Trojans were found from AVG, Symantec, or McAfee. Express Scribe also has received no virus, malware, or trojan awards from suggestsoft.com and softarea51. Additionally, Express Scribe transcription player received 5 Star Awards from Core Downloads, Download Pipe, Gear Downloads, Download Nice, and Download Mart. Express Scribe was the Editor's Pick on Download Route and received a Golden Award from EuroDownload.com. The same result was found with Express Dictate Dictation Software. Therefore, I suspect you have a false positive reading from AVG.
