Express Scribe 5.00 seems to truncated the text that I type for each paragraph

I upgraded a few days ago to Express Scribe 5.00 and after finishing an audio transcription did I realized that this new version seems to be truncating each paragraph of transcribed text.

 

In fact, any text in a paragraph that is the 260th character and beyond in a paragraph is lost once you exits the application.

 

I was somewhat shocked by this so I have reverted back to 4.37.

 

Is anyone else experiencing this ?

 

I have kind of have to go back to Re-transcribed the lost part of the transcription - that's a bummer for me.
