Newbie with probs?

Hi There,

 

I have tried to find a place to email NCH, but they do have a very clever site which limits unpaid technical support.

I am looking at purchasing this program, as I do like the way it works etc, however does anyone have the paid version and what differs???

 

There are a few things that i can't get my head around.

 

1) I have a lot of part numbers and when creating a stock/purchase order, the pull down box with part numbers are not in numerical order and is hard to find the one i am after.

there is no option to manually enter the part number.

 

2) Once I have spent the time to locate the part number and create the purchase order, the part numbers are left off the order. I can not see where to modify this, as this is no good for my supplier with just descriptions.

 

3) In the main stock screen, I have made up the stock values and can create a Low level stock report, This stock report needs to be transferable to a purchase order.

 

4)Once a purchase order is created nothing alters in the stock levels(to say it is on order), and still creates the same low level report.

To over come this I left all stock in the Main Warehouse location, and created Stock Order Location. So when I now create a Purchase order and use the (stock order instead of Main Warehouse) Location. It then duplicates the part number and still has the red line through the Main warehouse stock, and still creates the exact same Low level Report as before.

 

So my question is really will these be resolved in the paid version????

At the moment there is no paid version of Inventoria.

 

Some of the other issues you are facing will be addressed in the next release of Inventoria which is due out soon.
