Ockie2002 Posted October 9, 2009 Share Posted October 9, 2009 Express Burn Plus v.4.27. Trying to create an video DVD of up to 6 28-minute .WMV files. Despite a dozen different permutations, I always get an error message. My DVD drive is a NEC DVD+-rw6650 on a Dell laptop. I even updated the DVD-ROM driver. The usual error message is "Dvd authoring failed" and happens within a second or two of starting. I have tried: * Setting/unsetting option to make each file a new chapter; * Reducing the number of files progressively to 1, with no change; * Updating the DVD-ROM driver; * Converting at least one file to .AVI and .ASF formats. With the ASF format, the error message said something like "No entry point for xxx in dynamic link library". Question: Am I doing something wrong (I'm not an expert in this)? Should I try a different machine/DVD drive? Is there something in another NCH utility (which I may not have) which is used by Express Burn to burn video DVDs? In other words: Help!
