Guest John Andrews
I use Wave Pad when editing the audio recordings that I make for the Blind. It is very good for this. When editing out mistakes I stop the playback using the "Esc" key and then highlight using the curser with the mouse. If I then delete using the curser on the delete "screen button" the play-back restarts just before the erased bit and this is very useful just to check that everything flows properly. This does not happen if one uses the "delete" key on the keyboard - it just deletes and does not restart play-back. Is it possible I can reassign a key on my keyboard to perform in the same function as the "screen button" ? I find the programme very good for all the work I do in this area - being able to do the above would make the editing out of many small errors very much easier. I would appreciate your help and comments
nchngoc
It should work even you use the "Delete" key. Please make sure that you have the option "Automatically playback after any edit or effect" turned on in the File->Settings->Audio Processing page.
