rayinpp
Hi All, good forum - has helped with setup so far, however: When making a call out, the recipient can hear me fine, I can't hear them. When receiving a call in, it all works fine both ways. I'm sitting behind a Comtrend ADSL router & have fowarded ports 5070 and 8000 to 16000 to my pc static ip. Any ideas?? Am I just missing another port?? Tks in advance.
pythonpoole
Did you forward both TCP and UDP type ports or just one type? If just one, which one? Are you sure you don't have a software based firewall on your PC which could also be causing ports to be blocked?
rayinpp
Many tks Python - made sure that it was all udp ports forwarded from router, rebooted it and then for good measure added specific port to list of allowable in Windows firewall (ET exe was already in there) and hey presto - problem solved!! Got a feeling it was the router that did the trick but you never know do you? P.S. Is it coincidence that poole & bmth meet in a forum like this??
