sophiebremner
I am trying to install Express Scribe onto an old Windows 98 laptop, that is not internet-ready, so my transcriber here in Africa can use it. I downloaded the .exe file onto my own laptop, and then transferred this to the old laptop using a USB device. I also tried with an older version from a CD-ROM that someone else lent to me. Neither fully install, and say that my firewall is blocking it, which it isn't. Express Scribe seems to install fine at first sight, but when loading any .wma files they do not load properly and say they are only 0.00 in length. On my new laptop it works fine. Can anyone help or advise? Thank you Sophie
Guest nchaj
Hi Sophie, we have archived our old builds and our new builds only work from 2k onward. Did you install from http://www.nch.com.au/software/win98/index.html
