Guest Daris
At our church we record our sermons onto Digital Audio CD's and them load them into Wavepad for editing and then use Switch to convert to MP3 for loading on our webpage. Our problem is a recent one that has me baffled. We have been recording our sermons as usual, but the last few weeks after I upload the recording into Wavepad the sound is muffled. You have to turn the volume up all the way to hear the recording. Does anyone have any ideas as to what is going wrong here? At first I thought it was the CD's. We use a Philips CDR795 to record the sermons. I've been told that what we're using isn't suited well for our application, but it's fulfilled it's purpose. This unit is very picky about which CD types it will accept. I've determined that our CD's are correct, so now the question is is there a problem with my Wavepad, or is something amiss on our soundboard. I don't htink this is the case because the original recording has perfect audio. It's just when I load into Wavepad that it's muffled. Any ideas you guru's have would be appreciated. nchtj
Hi, In wavepad, does the audio waveform look like it normally does, or does it look smaller? If it looks smaller, use our normalization tool to increase the volume (effects menu -> normalize -> set to 100%
