Its coming up with Error : Sense Data 03 73 03 Anyone know why i would receive this error using DVD -R discs on a 2.4ghz, 4gig Ram Macbook Pro OSX 10.5.7 MATSHITA DVD-R UJ-857E: Firmware Revision: ZA0E Interconnect: ATAPI Burn Support: Yes (Apple Shipping Drive) Cache: 2048 KB Reads DVD: Yes CD-Write: -R, -RW DVD-Write: -R, -R DL, -RW, +R, +R DL, +RW Write Strategies: CD-TAO, CD-SAO, DVD-DAO Media: Type: DVD-R ID: RITEKF1 Blank: No Erasable: No Overwritable: No Appendable: Yes Write Speeds: 1x, 2x, 4x, 8x Thanks in Advance!!! Brian G Fisher Posted July 11, 2009 Share Posted July 11, 2009 Have you tried using some other discs besides the Riteks. Use a good brand like Taiyo Yuden, Sony or Falcon. Sense code usually means something is funky with the drive seeing the disc and initializing properly and sometimes this can be the compatibility of the drive to disc type. That is what happened when I have had sense code errors in the past. IF a different type of media doesnt work, then you may want to talk to the tech support folks from NCH.
