Guest N.C.H a.n
I am not able to make calls. I have checked the setting in my router mt841. All the ports are open still having problem. Hi, The log says that express talk can't find your public IP, so its using your private Ip. Now if it sends your private IP to the other side as the contact address, the other side isn't going to be able to find an ip address starting with 192.168. This is a private IP address not routable from the net. You will need to open your web browser and go to http://www.whatismyip.com this will tell you your public IP address. Now open the settings in express talk, and click the network tab. There is a section in here where you can set the public IP address. and that should get it working for you if you have forwarded the right ports in your router. The only issue you may run into is your public IP may be dynamic and change when you disconnect and re-connect to the internet. If this is the case, you will have to change the static public ip setting in express talk each time you disconnect the internet. Easy solution is don't disconnect it and your public IP won't change for a while. If you have a static public IP supplied by your internet provider, then your laughing as it won't change.
