HUGE save files

Hi there,

 

When I save my work within the programme as a 'Express Scribe Dictation File' it ends up in some cases being up to 300 mb in size!!!!! A file that has been downloaded from my dictaphone which was originally a 10mb windows media file to is turned into an enormous thing that can only be moved via burning it onto cd. Why? I am only creating a few kbs worth of notebook text as I transcribe - I must be doing something very wrong!!
