.dvf to .wav & .mp3 - not very efficient

Recommended Posts

Converting from .dvf to wav creates a 4x bigger file... & to mp3 a 8x bigger file...I want to share via email to my colleagues without making them download dvf player - but new files are too big to send. I bought Sony recorder and Switch a couple of years ago... are newer versions more space efficient?... & maybe there's a converter on the market from dvf to wma... maybe that creates a smaller file? (I love my wife's new Olympia DS-30 - it records natively in WMA and she shares with her colleagues easily...) Any thoughts?.. much appreciated..
