hockeyshooter Posted December 16, 2008 Share Posted December 16, 2008 I have Version 4.02 working with a Creative Modem Blaster PCI DI5792 card under Windows XP. My "script" is set to simply answer with a synthesised message then record to a WAVe file. The software works for a while then just stops answering. I changed the modem card fairly recently to try to support CLID - which it does for UK numbers but sadly not for international ones, which is what I specifically wanted. I can't see any settings that would cause this. I don't have it running as a Windows Service - I just leave the machine running and logged in all the time. It appears to keep answering for a few hours, then decides not to answer at all. The Windows energy saving settings only send the screen to sleep, not the CPU or hard disk.
