  1. Nat. Thanks for your reply. I have already submitted the suggestion, and I fully agree with your scheme. It would be useful if you would make the suggestion too, to add weight!
  2. Thanks for your reply and detailed explanation which makes perfect sense. I still feel that it would be better, and avoid the need for a workaround, if stabilized clips could be kept in their original order by appending 'stabilized' to the end of the file filename instead of the start, or by changing the text color or font of stabilized clips. I have many hours of old hand-held camcorder and camera footage to edit, so need to use the stabilizer quite often.
  3. .Suggestion logged. Thanks for that, but apart from the cip being moved to a different position, top left instead of bottom right, I think you are confirming my criticism. Surely it would be more logical and convenient for users to leave the stabilised clip in its original position? PS I can't use 11.26 release because of the .MP4 problem discussed in another thread.
  4. When video clips are stabilised, they are moved to the bottom of the bin. This means that they are moved out of sequence, and can be overlooked when adding to the timeline. Even if not forgotten, their position means scrolling up and down the bin to locate consecutive stabilised and non stabilised clips, which is a pain. Is there a reason why they are moved?
  5. Thanks for the advice, but I think I'll just stick with the old version 11.22 you linked, which is working properly, until the .MP4 problem is resolved.
  6. Strange, The .MTS clips were giving a 'Failed to load file' error message for me, on whichever version you linked back there. Thanks again for your help
  7. Borate. Please read my last reply. I was editing it as you were posting. Sorry. I have two Sony cameras, both giving .MTS videos, but different coding. Here is a link to the BDAV type clip. All these 'problem' file types are working properly with the 11.22 version.
  8. Thanks again for your reply and confirmation of the error. Update - version 11.22 solves both of the file problems. Thanks. There is a .MTS sample here I will stay tuned. One step forward, three steps back!
  9. Thanks for your reply. The errors have been reported, but I assumed that staff would look at threads here too? Sony .MTS video files are not a rare format. Surely the prog. should be able to handle them without needing pre-conversion? Both these and the 'problem' MP4 files play in Windows media player Media player classic, and load into other software including Virtualdub and Avidemux. There is a 10 sec (about 11MB) sample MP4 file here. No need for privacy, it's just a view of the Nile!
  10. Thank you for your reply. The problem is still there with the version you have linked. After further investigation, I find that the footage from my camera, which I need to edit, does not display, but some other .MP4 files display as normal. The screen grab here shows the Mediainfo data for two MP4 files. The one on the left displays properly, the one on the right does not. Also, I am disappointed that Videopad gives a 'Failed to load file' error message when I try to load .TS BDAV format video files from my Sony camera. I need to edit those too.
  11. Since downloading this new version, MP4 files are no longer displayed. There is no thumbnail, and although the clips seem to play, there is no display, but audio works as normal. File properties also display as normal. See screen grab here I think others have reported this too. Is there a workaround or fix? I'm using windows 10, Core I5 processor, Direct X 10.
