How to delete sequence 2 without deleting the "sequence 2" clip for sequence 1?

On the audio track, some audio clips are in a blue colour rather then green, why is that?

When I work on 'sequence 2' is 'sequence 1' taking up my laptop's resources? Or is it unloaded for the moment I'm in a different sequence? If it uses my laptop's resources I will just close the project and do my sequence 2 in a new project and just import it back to the main project. This way it won't lag as much as working on my main project which is now pretty big and I have a feeling it's causing the lags.

What does "Lock track" do?

I imported files straight into VideoPad from my phone and I don't know where and if they even saved onto the laptop. But I saved the project and reopened it and the videos are still there so that means the videos saved to my laptop, right? So can I continue working on the project and be sure that's the "missing files" window won't pop up tomorrow when I'm done the video?

Seems like a basic action but I can't find a way to do it. The only way I can find is just exporting the whole video but I don't want to do that as I got other clips in my project that I don't want to save. How can I just take that one clip, trim it and save it?

I have an outro with a bunch of audio and video tracks on top of eachother. Can I save that outro as one file so I can paste it in at the end of my videos without it merging all into one track? I want them to stay in separate tracks so I can adjust parts individually if necessary.

That's what I was doing and then he fragmented the conversation by adding in the part about "render my video destroyed" that I was having a separate thread about. Go to my profile and you will find an explanation. Yes I understand how the 2 previews and dual displays work. I'm using 2 audio tracks and 2 video. Yes I understand that "save as" helps. I do use it.

Ok.. I don't even know what to think of this now. Maybe this software isn't trash but it's glitchy for sure. Deleting 99% of the fixed the issue, so then I just deleted 1 video and that also fixed the issue so I places it back in and everything is back to normal. In defence I did try a bunch of different actions like adding new files and changing effects in missing videos to fix the problem but only deleting one of the missing videos actually fixes the issue. I'll give VideoPad one last chance. Being calmer now realizing I didn't waste 20 hours of work I wish to explain that I just don't have the time right now to send you the videos and follow instructions to get my work fixed that's why I don't want to send them right now. When I have more time I will send the broken files still on my laptop to maybe find out how to prevent these issues in future. Big thanks for the fast replies though. Trash software, good support.

Can I just cut out the whole 25 minute video and export the first 1 minute where this problem is shown?

First of all. I did "save AS". 3 times... But we'll continue that in the other thread. Second of all. I don't want you to fix these problems. I want you to fix this software and prevent this in the first place. I'm not gonna be coming back here every 2 days with a new problem and sending you a new video every time. And lastly, no matter how unfamiliar a user can be this shouldn't be happening. These problems are straight up glitches and not user errors. If you're trying to tell me that it's a user's fault then I'm sorry I didn't see and checkbox saying: [x] Yes, render the video destroyed. How do I turn this feature off?

Probably gonna stop using this trash but I want to at least export this video. Like I said half of the video is missing when watching "Sequence Preview" but it's there on "Clip Preview" it's like that for all video tracks. How do I fix this? I made 3 project saves in case something fu**s up AGAIN. All 3 files have the same problem. I'm tired of this.

Hasn't even been a week and this is my 5th topic. First video rendered destroyed. -3h Then audio missing and glitched out audio track. -4h Now half of the video is missing video. -15h This software is trash. Do you have anything for your defense? Or can I get a refund?

Ok thank you, I won't move the files again. I might do that portable option next time. I didn't get the option to resolve this time though, it just disappeared. Have I done any unnoticed damage to the files when moving? Like did the quality degrade or will it cause me other problems later on?

I made a 30 minutes long video with 50+ different clips. Saved it, loaded it and found out that the audio clips randomised places. Not all but like 80%. Short clips moved into areas of longer clips and created gaps in the timeline, longer clips when into places of shorter clips and over lapped with other audio, on the same track. I don't even how to do that or if it's possible. I think it's a complete glitch as in those areas non of the audio clips played. The video also over lapped in some places but that could have happened when I "closed gap in track." Spent 4 hours puzzling it back and saved it and went to sleep. Next day I opened it praying for it to not happen again. This time one of the video files didn't load it's linked audio. It's just that 1 file, it was cut into ~15 parts, ~13 of them are missing. The video is good, it's just the audio missing. Too late to fix it now as I'll get it fixed before you answer but tell me why this happened and how can I prevent it in future. The only reason I can think of for what could have caused it is me moving the video files in this project into a different folder and I kept the "project file" in the old folder. Edit: Yeah yeah... I know, I know, "update the version". I'll get on to that when I'm done this video, I don't trust this software, probably won't open after I update it. I'm still on version 11.22

I will update VideoPad but I cannot send you the video, I want to keep it private, it's not a big problem anyway, I'll find a way around it. This does not apply to the other thread, I will be happy to send a link to that as soon as I get back to working on it. Thank you.

I stopped working on that other project for today. I'll reply to you back on that other thread when I complete the instructions. For now can you help me with this problem? I'm on version 11.22. Is that the newest one?

Every time I use "split" it creates like a 1-2 second glitch of both audio and video. There's like 80% of the frames missing at random at the start of the video after the cut. Why? How do I fix it?

I don't know what version it is. The button "about" (or whatever it says in the English version) that pops up when right clicking on the program, doesn't work. I think it's the newest version, it updated yesterday, and added "Video maker". Yes it's licensed. 1. What is "this one"? 2. What are upgrades? 3. And what do you mean by "register the newest"? Newest what?

I tried to export my video 3 times and every time it gets destroyed, music glitches out, green screens flash every few seconds, the whole video tears and warps with black shapes on screen. Why is this happening? How do I fix it?
