Thank you but I have already been through solution in form of available-OS-settings. And that topic is from the times of Widnows XP What I need to do is to apparently use some Registry hack to change how Switch behaves or wait for an update from its creators [assuming that they would consider this an issue to be delt with]

Well, it was not skipping until now And selected a whole folder is not really an option if you want to treat only some of the files residing in it

The single most valuable feature of Switch is broken When I select files and right click them to execute on them e.g. "Convert to .wav using Switch", only 1 or 2 are selected, then send to and as in the end converted in Switch; with the rest of files being ignored. It happens both when navigating in Windows Explorer and in FreeCommander. And of course I can select those ignored files and drag them by hand to Switch window- where I can successfully drop them and convert them by hand. But that is the point - I do not want to do it by hand, I need this to happen automatically I did not have such issue for years with version 4.35 on Windows 7 and 10 - but now I do with 9.0 after installing it from scratch on a brand new machine with up-to-date Windows 10. And what is more: if I install version 4.35 or 5.06 on top of it then I can send / convert up to 15 files at once without problems [just like I used to do on me previous PC

Every time I wipe out this field in Switch settings, it gets once more filled after re-opening of Switch. And I need to permanently get rid of this because apparently it makes WAV files have something written to them that in turn makes my sound editor spit out an error pop-up, saying that not everything from such file can be loaded up. And so every time I have to click OK in my sound editor- which is both annoying and counterproductive. I did not have such issue for years with version 4.35 on Windows 7 and 10 - but now I do with 9.0 after installing it from scratch on a brand new machine with up-to-date Windows 10 And yes - this is an issue of metadata being added to files created by Switch, which in theory can be managed within it. But as I said, after closing and reopening of Switch the field Encoded By is filled once more, despite it being wiped out the previous time. Also a LENGTH field is added to a converted file - and that field is not present in the option

Going to Windows 10 Settings > Personalization > Taskbar > Select which icons appear on the taskbar does not work Because if I turn it ON for Switch I will get two Switch icons at the same time: one in Tray [thus somewhat hidden as I can move it around] and second in the Notification Area [thus permanently visible as it is not-movable]. While when I turn it OFF the icon in the Tray will remain There is no option regarding this within Switch itself, be it version 9.0 or some older one
