  1. I am experiencing the same issue. The volume unexpectedly fluctuates during playback. When it becomes quieter it sounds like there is flange on the track. Then it returns to normal sound, only to get quiet and flanged out about 5 seconds later. I have repeatedly tried to make sure no effects are turned on. That doesn't seem to be the issue. It seems to be something with the software. IT's as though it is preset to record with volume fluctuations and flange. Somebody please help...........is the software supposed to operate this way?
  2. I am recording electric guitar with a microphone onto wavepad. When I listen to the recording it sounds fine for the first 5-10 seconds, then it becomes much quieter and it sounds like the flanger is on. I don't know how to fix this and record without this problem. I haven't turned on any effects. oops...it sounds like flange not reverb.
  3. I am attempting to record multiple tracks of guitar riffs and mix them together. However, I need to listen to the former track to make sure that I play in time with it. I read a former post that seemed related, but I couldn't find any way to un-mute under the control panel as suggested. My operating system is Vista. Thanks.
