  1. Thanx for the info but I'm done with Videopad. Having to pay again for upgrades that make the program usable at all is not how you keep customers happy and bad press at bay.
  2. Hi all, I've got Videopad Professional v. 7.34. I really like the software apart from one major bug: quite often a clip on the sequence freezes and 'stays frozen' at that particular point. Although the cursor keeps on moving further on the sequence, you only see the frozen frame. If you go back to previous clips on the sequence they will still show, but as soon as you arrive at the 'broken' clip the sequence freezes again at the same point and the rest of the clips on the sequence will not show. This makes further editing impossible. I've tried everything from closing and restarting the program to all the other suggestions I found at this forum, but with no luck. The only workaround seems to be removing the frozen clip from the sequence (and add it again). But then, after further editing, often another clip freezes at some point.....etc. The amount of frustration (and loss of time) about this has grown to the point that I'm about to give up on this otherwise really nice software and try something else. My last hope is that this will have something to do with the version I'm on (7.34) and that later upgrades will have resolved this bug. Could this be the case? BTW my system is up to the job with i7, 7700 HQ @2.8 ghz, 8gb RAM and GTX 1050 (updated drivers), Windows 10. No other software causes any problem. FYI: right now I'm having this problem with a video of (only) 33 small clips that add up to no more than 2 minutes. I hope anyone can shed some light on this. Cheers, Henk-Jan
