  1. I work at a newspaper. We have our readers call into an answering machine and comment on current events. Until now, we've been using a cassette answering machine. Needless to say, finding cassette answering machines to replace the ones that wear out is becoming increasingly difficult. I'm wondering if this sort of setup, with Answering Attendant and a voice modem might be the better way to do it in the future. But, strangely, nothing in the documentation here seems to mention playback. My questions are how playback works, and whether IVM Answering Attendant suits our application. Specifically: How easy is it to play recorded voicemails? What about rewinding and fast-forwarding to specific parts of a message? Can the same machine be used to transcribe the messages while the machine is accepting messages? If this doesnt' work, what's a better idea? Thanks
