Free software locks up, says I have to buy it to open again

Hi folks i have been an avid user of NCH express invoice for many years, having recently downsized, and dumping sage, i am struggling to register the free version, i am a home based individual that has a need for invoicing. NCH has always been perfect, but can't be done with keep re regegistering, help steve Murray
