I've tried searching through the boards but haven't found anything like this yet.
When I place a call on hold, they will be randomly dropped by my side of things. Some have lasted as long as 30secs, some just 9 secs.
I'm using a Sipgate account.
Do you think it could be a problem with Express Talk, my ISP / IP settings or Sipgate?
My internet connection is rock solid, so I personally think it could be a prob with ET or Sipgate....?
I had tried running Sipgate with their default X-Lite software, but that didn't seem to support the whole 'on hold' function at all (you'd loose a call completely if you tried to put them on hold & you couldn't return to them).
Express Talk had seemed to be performing much better, but this is just damn frustrating!
